The Alexander Pope Hotel Twickenham, Twickenham

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The receptionist's kind gesture of helping me with the luggage for myself and my 6-year-old was lovely. The room had a comfortable bed and decent pillows, but there were some cleaning issues and bulbs not working, indicating a lack of proper management checking.

I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were fantastic, very spacious with lovely views of the Thames, and the staff was very accommodating to our early start. However, the lighting in the room was a bit inadequate when the curtains were closed on the ground floor.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a sweet balcony for river views, but some areas like the skirting boards and carpets could use more attention. Staff is accommodating for early starts, and the location is superb near transport links and the river. Dining is tasty and prompt, though with limited choices. A satisfactory stay at fair value.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfy with crisp white linen, and the room had everything I needed from coffee-making facilities to a trouser-press. The only downside was a minor issue with dining options one morning, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.
